Enchantment & Mii amo Donate $25,000 towards Doe Mountain Trail Restoration and Enhancement

Sedona, AZ (March 20, 2025) – On March 13th, the Enchantment & Mii amo’s Managing Director Stan Kantowski, on behalf of the entire team presented the Sedona Red Rock Trail Fund with a $25,000 donation towards the rehabilitation and enhancement of Doe Mountain Trail. The Doe Mountain Trail project is a long-awaited dream for the Red Rock Ranger District and one of the major initiatives for fiscal year 2025.

Enchantment & Mii amo’s Managing Director Stan Kantowski added, “Enchantment & Mii amo pride ourselves on ensuring the longevity of Sedona’s natural surroundings in order to allow coming generations to share the same experience and opportunity for exploration. Over 20 years ago, the property created Boynton Canyon Foundation that supports development and maintenance of the trails in the greater Sedona area. Part of the proceeds from every tour offered at both properties is allocated to that fund. We were fortunate to be able to support many projects via the Sedona Red Rock Trail Fund. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our team for their hard work, which makes contributions like this possible. We also want to thank the Sedona Red Rock Trail Fund and the USFS team on their extraordinary efforts in preserving the beauty of our trails for our guests and the community. Trail crews are already at work rebuilding the steep 0.8-mile approach trail with honed rock check steps up to the mesa top. After the ascending trail is completed, a new 2- mile, “figure 8” loop trail will be constructed atop the 42-acre mesa – built to a sustainable standard. The labyrinth of random user-created trails that presently meander across the mesa will be either incorporated into the new trail or rehabilitated.

“Enchantment has a legacy of community leadership in honoring and preserving our Red Rock Country and its trails”, stated Dick Williams, SRRTF president. “All trail users, the community, – and especially the trails – owe Stan and his colleagues a heartfelt thanks for their continued generosity and commitment to help our Red Rocks retain their magic.”

The SRRTF, a fundraising partner of the USFS Red Rock Ranger District, has been working on funding sources for this project for the past year. They have secured two grants from the Arizona Community Foundation totaling $8,000, and have collected approximately $2,500 from individual donors in the first few months of fundraising.
