Help Maintain
Sedona’s Red Rock Trails
Whether you give financially, volunteer your time, or help spread the word, you are part of protecting Sedona’s trail system.
Every trail improvement, restoration project, and volunteer day is possible because of this community.
Public Trail Work Days give volunteers the opportunity to work alongside experienced trail crews on the same maintenance and restoration projects your support helps fund. Not only do volunteers get to work alongside the pros, they enjoy a Sedona Red Rock Trail Fund-sponsored lunch at the end of the day!
Trail Work Season lasts from October to April each year.
Typical volunteer activities include:
• Trail building and repair
• Erosion control
• Rock work and drainage improvements
• Trailhead cleanup
• Stewardship education
During the October 2025 – April 2026 Trail Season, 769 volunteers contributed 3,188 hours of stewardship across 54 volunteer events – to those volunteers: THANK YOU, THANK YOU.

Mission
To gather donations toward the maintenance and enhancement of the non-motorized National Forest trails in and around Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek, and to educate and inform the public regarding their use and management.
Vision
Self-sustaining funding source(s) to help maintain and enhance the non-motorized USFS trails near Sedona and the Village of Oak Creek.
